Gold Disc Necklace
Hi Friends!!
I have an exciting post today, it's a little different than others. Very sentimental to me. I purchased this name Disc a few months ago. I found this company Made by Mary, through a few bloggers. Immediately, I wanted this necklace. It was different than the other name plates I had seen lately. And I love being able to support small businesses when I can.
The company is amazing! Their customer service is as good as their products. I had a question after I had put in my order, and I received a response within a day, I loved that. And the way the woman responded was so sweet and genuine. Promptly, one week later I received the necklace in the mail. The next order I put in was for a name disc for my Mama and the hammered crescent. This one took two weeks, but from Utah to California ( the middle of the state, where mail always takes long...no offense to any mail carriers-its always has been this way) still impresses me.
The products are beautiful, and so dandy. I love how I can wear my name disc everyday and it will not tarnish or look "used". It remains in its original beauty.
I had mentioned this necklace a few times on my Instagram page. And one of my friend's, Trish reached out to me asking about it, she had an idea of getting her own. Trish's idea of making hers was so moving and precious. I of course encouraged her idea, I loved it.
Let me give you some background first on my relationship with Trish. She is married to Sam, which is how we met. I have known Sam since Kindergarten, we both went to the same elementary school. Then he moved to a different school in 2nd grade. Fast forward, to high school. I'm the new girl from the Catholic School, now at our public high school. I meet Sam again and his cousin Jordan (girl). Jordan and I become best friends and till this day she is my best friend, love you LoveBug! Since high school I have become very close with Sam and Jordan's family. From their parents, to aunts, cousins, and Pops. And two years ago on a beautiful day, Sam and Trish got married with their closest friends and family members to share the day with.
This past year Trish got pregnant, with two boys. Yay!! Two sweet and innocent boys, whose names were Jaxon and Tucker. God had decided that they were to perfect for this world. And they are up in Heaven watching over their amazing parents.
To watch two friends and their families go through such a heartbreak is something I would never wish on anyone. They are all amazing people, whom I love.
When Trish told me that she wanted to get a necklace with the boy's names on it I felt a sense of happiness. Writing this blog is not something that is going to change the World, maybe one day. LOL. But I felt like I have helped a friend when she was going through a hard time. Now when she sees her self in the mirror, she see's that necklace and can smile at the boy's names.
Trish totally sent me a picture of her necklace too! Its the one to the right ---->
